Protect Access to Healthcare

Email your Congressperson to protect healthcare and vote against the Cassidy-Graham Affordable Care Act Repeal Bill! There are two critical efforts underway that need your attention.

1. The proposed Cassidy-Graham Affordable Care Act Repeal Bill! would take coverage away from millions, raise premiums and out of pocket expenses, end Medicaid expansion and cut the Medicaid program, and weaken protections for those with pre-existing conditions.
2. Community health centers, such as Project HOME's Stephen Klein Wellness Center are under threat of losing their funding if Congress fails to act by September 30. If Congress fails to extend funding, health centers will lose 70 percent of their federal funding, the number of clinicians supported by the National Health Service Corps program will be cut in half in 2018 and 2019, and the Teaching Health Care program will close effectively on October 1, 2017. 

Take action and urge your representative to vote against the Cassidy-Graham ACA repeal bill and support renewal of funding for health centers.
