“Last year, we raised the most amount for Pennies for Patients, a leukemia and lymphoma association,” she added. “We raised over $6,700, which is the highest we ever done. We also do fundraisers with other charitable organizations like Project Home and the Ronald McDonald House. We’ve done a lot with the community. This program is really great because it allows students to learn the importance of giving back to the community.”
