Heroes

Two of our community members have been honored by the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund as heroes of LGBT Women's History Month. Dionne Stallworth, a long-time resident of Connelly House, is considered “a pioneer in the LGBT movement,” and has long been active in political empowerment and health issues for transgendered persons. Leigh Braden, program manager of our Kate’s Place residence, has developed many effective services and programs to meet the needs of homeless LGBTQI youth.
You can read more about both of these amazing heroes here. We are proud of them, and blessed that they are part of our community.
