Francis Fund Recipient: Joseph's House

Check out this article featuring one of the Francis Fund organizations, Joseph’s House in Camden to find out what Pope Francis’ visit means to some of the men staying at the shelter.

The mission of Joseph’s House in Camden, is “to work collaboratively with others to aid the 'least of our brothers and sisters' by offering a continuum of services including emergency shelter, a range of supportive housing, and access to comprehensive social services.”

The Francis Fund is one part of a three-prong campaign organized by the World Meeting of Families (WMOF) Hunger and Homelessness Committee.  It is a special fund to address the needs of those who are struggling with poverty in the Philadelphia/Camden region in the spirit of Pope Francis’ own special compassion and mercy for our most vulnerable sisters and brothers. Joseph's House is planning to build an addition for a small health clinic at the center through the grant they will receive through the Francis Fund.
