Jeffrey Goldwire works at Project HOME as a Maintenance Tech for our Rowan-Judson and Saint Elizabeth's Residences. He has been writing poetry since the age of twelve.
Three meals and a bed would do one just fine
But lack of the two bring tears to the eye
These are essential to the well-being of man
Victuals in the belly and a roof overhead
The outward man cries when it lacks its need
As does the inward man when it lacks Spiritual feed
We praise the name of JESUS who will provide
All of our need if we will abide
Abide in his word and abide in his love
And he will shower you with blessings
That will come from above
Feed the spiritual first, desire spiritual wealth
And receive food, shelter and a life of good Health
