Adult Learning Classes
The Adult Learning and Workforce Development Program provides basic and intermediate computer classes, career trainings & job seekers weekly orientations, GED classes, adult basic literacy classes and access to other resources to help local residents improve their lives, gain employment and pursue higher education.
Additionally, we host college readiness classes for adults, which focus on academic preparation, finding financial-aid & scholarships, college visits, and general guidance.
Every adult learner starts his or her personalized program by meeting one-on-one with a staff member and discusses goals, history, and chooses appropriate classes. Classes occur on a rotating basis, so check back frequently for new schedules.
Personal enrichment classes are available to explore and expand an interest you enjoy. We host workshops in music production, photography, and creative writing.
The Honickman Learning Center Comcast Technology Labs also features open computer lab hours for adults. Labs are open Monday through Friday.
