Economic Development
The Economic Development Program addresses the persistent challenges of long-term economic disinvestment: "vacancy, blight, and high rates of unemployment."
Through the City of Philadelphia's CDC Tax Credit Program and the generous support of our corporate sponsor Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Banzburg & Ellers, LLP our program aims to collaborate with local business owners, police, and neighborhood residents to implement a stabilization plan for the Ridge Avenue Commercial Corridor.
Technical assistance and program development is offered to the neighborhood in the form of:
- arts and culture events
- business development workshops
- community safety programs
- business association leadership and development
