Services
Project H.O.M.E. has developed a proven and effective program to assist
persons in overcoming chronic homelessness.
Project H.O.M.E. understands the connection between vulnerable neighborhoods
and homelessness, which is why we are committed to strengthening the
communities where we live and work.
Project H.O.M.E. recognizes that education and employment are critical tools
to help all people-young and old-improve the quality of their lives.
Advocacy
Many of our residences have Activities Coordinators who arrange an array of
social and advocacy related activities with a goal of increasing
socialization, self-determination, and self-esteem as well as reintegration
into the broader community due to the chronic marginalization that occurs
when an individual experiences homelessness. Project H.O.M.E.'s Education
and Advocacy Department provides an important piece of the supportive
services through voter education and advocacy, various lobbying efforts, and
monthly facilitation of an advocacy committee meeting in which residents can
have a voice in shaping public policies.
