Development Associate / Individual Giving
The primary responsibility of the Development Associate/Individual Giving is to act as the database specialist for the individual giving team, ensuring the integrity of the Raiser's Edge database and the information that is thereafter integrated into Financial Edge (the compatible financial management database). He/she is also responsible for processing donations and tracking/analyzing department expenses. He/she works closely with the Manager of Annual Giving & Special Events to encourage potential, new and current individual donors to build and strengthen their relationship with the Project H.O.M.E. community through development and coordination of events, mailings, email, media and site visits to ensure the continued financial support of the organization. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 1 year office experience; be detail-oriented; have excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access & Excel); have the ability to function successfully in a high-pressure, short-deadline environment; and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Schedule: M-F 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location: 1515 Fairmount Avenue .
