H.O.M.E. Page Café
The H.O.M.E. Page Café is located in the Central Branch of the Philadelphia Free Library of Philadelphia ( 1901 Vine Street , Philadelphia ) and brews the finest in free trade and organic coffees. The café also serves artisanal pastries and breads from Metropolitan Bakery, and specialty sandwiches and salads from the Back H.O.M.E. Café and Catering. The café provides full and part time employment opportunities for formerly homeless individuals as well as for youth participating in the Harold A. Honickman Entrepreneurial Program. In-depth training in customer service and job skills is done by Metropolitan Bakery as well as the H.O.M.E. Page Job Coach.
The café is open seven days per week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday. It will also be open for select Free Library author events in the evenings.
