Helping to Make "Real Change"
NOVEMBER 18, 2008Today in Reading Terminal Market, S. Mary Scullion joined with the Center City District and Reading Terminal Market to reinforce the message of the "Real Change" campaign. The campaign was launched in October in City Hall by the Mayor, Center City District, and advocates to promote contributions to organizations doing meaningful work with people living on the streets as an alternative to giving to people who panhandle. Several wonderful individual journeys -- amazing success stories -- connected with Project H.O.M.E. (including in the .pdf linked below) are featured in the campaign's posters and advertisements.
The campaign's website, www.makerealchange.org, offers the opportunity for individuals to make donations to several great organizations. Project H.O.M.E. was honored to be included in that group.
